Litchfield woman injured in Dassel Township crash


DASSEL TOWNSHIP, MN – Deputy Kaylin Hare, 22, of Litchfield was injured in a two-vehicle crash in Dassel Township Wednesday morning, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

Timothy Servin of Dassel was driving a GMC Sierra, and was traveling eastbound on 240th St., when his vehicle struck Hare, who was in a Ford Explorer squad traveling northbound on 730th Ave., turning onto 240th St. The view at the intersection was obstructed by a large snow bank and hill crest.

Hare was taken to HCMC to be treated for non-life threatening injuries. Servin was uninjured, according to the state patrol.

Meeker County Sheriff’s Office, Litchfield Police Department, and Dassel Fire Department assisted at the scene.
