HUTCHINSON, MN — The public will be able to comment next month on a proposal to ban overnight parking along all Hutchinson streets for the winter months, reported the Hutchinson Leader.
The city council voted Tuesday night to have a public hearing on a winter parking ordinance at its Tuesday, Nov. 10 meeting. The ordinance would prohibit parking on streets between 2 and 6 a.m. from Dec. 1 to March 15.
Mayor Steve Cook said he wanted more time to think about the impact the ban might have in neighborhoods where off-street parking is limited.
