DASSEL, MN – Hojies Grill & Smokehouse in Dassel will be closing its doors Sunday, Dec. 13, confirmed owner Craig Hagen today (Thursday, Dec. 3).
“There’s been too many things in the past few years,” Hagen said, noting the economy and other factors. Hagen has owned the restaurant for 13 years, with his wife, Marcella.

ahh, i get home on the 21st. dang.
I am very disappointed in this news. We have Hojies do our luches for special occasions at work and have enjoyed them very much. It was also nice to go there on Sunday afternoons and their food was also great. I understand their reasoning and I am sorry that it has come to this. Another business lost in a small town, what a shame, especially for the older people that don’t like to drive out of town.
When visiting MN we had the absolute best walleye at Hojies.
We have enjoyed eating at Hojies over the last 12
years. We are really sorry to see you close.
God Bless
It’s a very sad day when the areas BEST resturaunt closed it’s doors. Best of luck to Craig and Marcie in what they do next!!
