With graduation coming this weekend, I thought it might be appropriate to get people to take a walk down memory lane. What are some of your favorite high school memories? I’ll start. One of my favorite memories was graduation and hearing our valedictorian read the Dr. Seuss book, “Oh the Places You’ll Go.” It was really inspiring and it made me feel like I could go anywhere and be anything – almost anything. This was particularly sweet for me because I remember thinking throughout high school that I couldn’t see myself graduating. Not that I wasn’t smart enough, but that it was such a big step in life that I just never that I would get there. Funny, now I can say the same thing about marriage!

DC’s graduation was pretty emotional with Adam Kappes determined to walk to accept his diploma. Without any help, Kappes walked with braces on his legs and crutches in his arms to receive his diploma during Saturday’s commencement. He received a standing ovation, not to mention a few tears from graduates and audience members.
