Fulfillment Systems to build again in Dassel?

Dale Miller of Proworks in Dassel hinted Thursday that Fulfillment Systems might build a second building in Red Rooster Industrial Park. Miller was telling the Cokato Dassel Rotary in Daniel’s Family Restaurant of Cokato what Proworks clients do at the Fulfillment Systems’ facility. The clients fold and repackage returned clothing (more about Proworks will be in a story in the Nov. 5 Enterprise Dispatch.) He told how unusually large-sized the clothes are. Miller said some of the garments are 6X! He added that Fulfillment Systems is keeping the Proworks clients busy, and that there’s a possibility the company will expand or build a second building there. Dassel City Administrator Myles McGrath said awhile back that Fulfillment Systems is shouldering a hefty share of Dassel’s tax burden because the building is so nice. Dassel residential property taxes are relatively high. If Fulfillment Systems builds another structure as nice as the first, it will ease some of the pressure on Dassel residential property taxpayers. Let’s hope Miller is right.
