BUFFALO, MN – A Wright County deputy from Buffalo, Daniel J. Lang, was killed today in motorcycle accident, reported the Wright County Sheriff’s Department.
Lang should not be mixed up with the Dan Lang who is the former Howard Lake chief of police and is working currently as an investigator for Meeker County, who also worked formerly for the Wright County Sheriff’s Department.
The department issued a statement, which read, in part “The Wright County Sheriff’s Office is saddened to report that Deputy Daniel J. Lang was killed in an off duty motorcycle accident on June 2 in the City of Minneapolis.”
Lang had been employed as a deputy sheriff for Wright since December of 2003.
“Dan was well liked by his fellow employees and will be missed by us all,” according to the statement. Details of the funeral arrangements are not known at this time.

I am so very sorry for your loss< I didn’t know him persoanlly, But it’s never easy losing someone so very close.
