Dean Mahlstedt, Tim Benoit announce run for Republican Senate endorsement

COKATO, DASSEL, MN – Dean Mahlstedt of Cokato and Tim Benoit of Dassel are both seeking the Republican endorsement for the District 18 Senate seat now filled by Steve Dille (R-Dassel). The cacauses will take place Feb. 2, 2010 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. More details to come. Two others, Randy Wilson, mayor of Glencoe, and Scott Newman of Hutchinson, are also seeking the nomination.

Mahlstedt is hosting an event to answer questions about himself and his position at Dunn Bros. in Hutchinson Saturday, Dec. 12 from 10 a.m. to noon. No events are planned thus far for Benoit.

    New York? Meeker County is one of the least diverse in the state. No one is from anywhere else.
