DC selects new high school principal

DASSEL, COKATO, MN – Although there were several high-quality applicants interested in the principal position at Dassel-Cokato High School (DCHS), Superintendent Jeff Powers told staff members that Christopher Meisch was “clearly [the district’s] first choice.”

For Meisch, education has always been part of his life, having two parents as teachers and, he credits, having been raised in Wabasha.

“Growing up in Wabasha helped me to fully understand at a young age the significant role that family, community, support, academic rigor, and teamwork play in the educational process,” Meisch stated in a letter of introduction he wrote to DCHS staff.
