Kindergarten ‘Muffins for Moms’ May 4, 5
Cokato Elementary kindergarten classes will host a “Muffins for Moms” event Tuesday, May 4 and Wednesday, May 5, for the respective classes, from 8 to 8:30 a.m.
Dassel Elementary will host its “Muffins for Moms” event from 8 to 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 5 and Thursday, May 6, for the respective classes.
Elementary spring programs set
Dassel Elementary’s third and fourth grade will perform in a spring concert Tuesday, May 4, with an afternoon matinee at  1:30 p.m. and an evening program at 6:30 p.m. for third grade and 7:30 p.m. for fourth grade, both in the Performing Arts Center.
Cokato Elementary’s third and fourth grade will perform their spring concert Thursday, May 6, with an afternoon matinee at 1:15 p.m. and an evening program at 7 p.m., both at the Performing Arts Center.
PTA meeting set for Thursday, May 6

The Dassel-Cokato PTA will being meeting Thursday, May 6 at 6:30 p.m. in the High School Media Center. Mari Pokornowski, state PTA president and past president of DC PTA, will talk about how PTA can make schools stronger.  Parent involvement, communication and current issues are all important aspects of all PTA. All community members are welcome and the PTA invite attendees to come with questions and any discussion topics they may have encountered throughout the year.
Academic awards set for Tuesday, May 11
The high school’s annual academic awards is set for Tuesday, May 11 at 8 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center.
Prom set for Saturday, May 15
The theme for prom this year is “Shores of Venice” and will begin with a grand march at 5:30 p.m., Saturday, May 15. The prom this year is all-inclusive with the prom and after-prom festivities both taking place at the Mall of America. Dinner and a dance will be at Kokomo’s Island Café, with after-prom at Nickelodeon Universe.
Middle school band/choir concerts set
The fifth grade band/choir concert is scheduled for Tuesday, May 25 at 6:30 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center. Sixth grade will follow at 8 p.m.
The seventh grade band/choir concert is set for Thursday, May 27 at 6:30 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center. Eighth grade will follow at 8 p.m.
