The ED recently received a complaint that there is too much negative news in the paper. We live in a great community where there isn’t a lot of crime reported, but just like any place in this fine country, there are some criminals and it’s the paper’s job to report them. When there is criminal activity, it is only fair the public knows so they can be cautious. There is a fair amount of positive news in the paper that offsets the negative. Sorry to those who think the newspaper should be all roses and peaches, but life is not.

I enjoy reading all the DC paper, there is alot of news, including crime, and I like that. I like to know what’s going on. I like all the human interest stories you cover, along with all the coverage of local events. I live in a nearby city, and subscribe to both the ED and our local paper, and like reading the ED before reading our local paper any day. Way more information, keep up the good work!
