I am so excited about the prospect of a sheet of ice in the DC area. I think it will help the youth program grow to heights not yet imagined. Our two communities have a love for both boys and girls hockey and making it more accessible will be a positive move.
And, besides hockey, the building will be a productive tool to other sports in the spring, summer and fall.

It could be used for practices with baseball, softball and golf, football- just to name a few sports- in the case of bad weather or lack of gym space. It could also be used for reunions, expo’s, church events, shows….the list goes on. It really would benefit more than just hockey players.
