Dassel woman hurt in crash


DASSEL, MN – A 30-year-old Dassel woman sustained non-life threatening injuries in a crash in Wright County Tuesday evening, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

The report states that Larisa Mae Otten of Dassel was driving a 2011 Ford Fusion east on Highway 55 near 5th Street Southeast in Rockford Township at about 5 p.m., when she attempted to make a left-hand turn.

Her vehicle was rear-ended by a 1999 Volvo Sedan, driven by Eric Dirk Hopkins, 55, of Crystal. Patricia Marie Hopkins, 68, also of Crystal, was a passenger in the Volvo Sedan.

All three people involved in the crash were taken to Buffalo Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries, according to the state patrol.
