Dassel woman hurt in crash

KIMBALL, MN – A Dassel woman sustained non-life threatening injuries after a crash on Highway 15 south of Kimball Nov. 10, according to a report from the Minnesota State Patrol.

Emilia Ann Stromgren, 45, of Dassel was driving a 2015 Toyota Rav 4 north on Highway 15 at about 3:42 p.m. when her vehicle crossed over the center line into the southbound lane, the report stated. A 2016 Mack 600 semi truck, traveling south on Highway 15, swerved onto the southbound shoulder to avoid a collision. The Toyota struck the rear axel of the semi truck, and the semi came to rest in the southbound ditch.

Stromgren was transported to Meeker Memorial Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. She was wearing her seatbelt at the time of the crash, and the airbag was deployed.

The driver of the semi, Barrett Joel Lindeman, 51, of Brownton, had no reported injuries.
