Dassel-Cokato Schools will be moving grades 7-12 to hybrid learning starting Monday, Nov. 16

Dassel-Cokato, MN-In a statement released by the Dassel-Cokato school district on Nov. 9 it said, it will be moving grades 7-12 to hybrid learning starting Monday, Nov. 16.   Grades PreK-6 will remain in-person learning. “The time we were hoping to continually prolong has arrived.  The factors used for determining learning models have evolved to a point where a change is needed.  Our county case-rate, community, and district numbers are all increasing.  Up until a few days ago, the impact was still manageable, however, as with all aspects of COVID-19, circumstances change quickly and often.  To date within the school district: 44 total people have tested positive for COVID-19, 23 have been since the start of November, and 5 students grades K-6 have tested positive (all but one from household transmission),” the statement said.
