DASSEL – The Dassel City Council regular meeting will take place as scheduled tonight, at 7 p.m. at Dassel City Hall.

A public hearing is slated to take place at that time to consider a request from Zach and Karen Pokornowski, 750 Lee Ave., Cokato, for the vacation of drainage and utility easements along interior lot lines on Lots 9 and 10, Block 7, of Summit Hills Addition in Dassel.

The regular meeting will follow the public hearing.  Monthly department reports will be reviewed.  The council will also look at the two bids received for the 2020 improvement project.  Both bids are significantly higher than estimated, and City Engineer Chuck DeWolf has suggested the council reject them.

The council will also discuss how to proceed with annual city events such as city-wide garage sales and the city cleanup day, in light of COVID-19.
