Crow River Arts has openings for board members

Crow River Arts organization is seeking board members and volunteers from the Crow River area (Glencoe, Winsted, Lester Prairie, Dassel, Cokato, Stewart, Bownton, Litchfield, and Hutchinson).
The success and survival of Crow River Arts (CRA) depends on volunteers, sponsors and members. These people are the heart of CRA.  All of the great activities and events that CRA sponsors would not happen without the generous support from people in the community.
CRA has openings for project leaders, volunteers, and board members. People can be involved “a little” or “a lot,” based on their interests and time availability CRA offers several art related programs each year. Currently, they are working with area schools on the annual youth art exhibit. This exhibit promotes the talent of area youth and gives them and their teachers
recognition for their efforts.  Another program is the “Summer Education” program. This program provides art-related classes to children aged 4 and up.  Adult education classes are offered throughout the year.  CRA also offers area artists opportunities to display and/or sell their
work via exhibits, events, the Hutch Arts & Crafts fair, etc.

This year, CRA will also be sponsoring a Coffee House/Hutch Idol event during the RiverSong Festival in July.  Please contact CRA at (320) 587-0899 or visit the web site:
www.crowriverarts.org to see how your talents can best support the organization.
