COKATO, MN – Construction on County Road 153 (Jackson Ave. and Third Street) is expected to end later next week with final paving to begin tentatively this Saturday weather permitting, according to Kevin Johnson, project supervisor with the Wright County Highway Department.
There has been some rain delays and extra work that has pushed the project back a bit from its July 2 target date, according to Johnson.
Currently, Sundblad Construction is working to raise the man holes and gate valves for water mains before the county comes in possibly Saturday, to pave the final layer, Johnson said. The road is expected to be open some time later next week.
