FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP, MN – Two teenagers from Buffalo were injured Monday evening after being involved in a crash on Highway 12.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, at 8:23 p.m. Jan. 21, a 2006 Chevy Impala driven by Camaron Isaacs-Olson, 17, was eastbound and turning left with a flashing yellow light when it was struck by a westbound 2013 Dodge Caravan driven by Jennah Verhey, 44, of Cokato.

The vehicles spun and struck a 2007 Toyota Camry, driven by Lanita Farstad, 79, of Waverly, which was sitting at the light on Highway 25.

Isaacs-Olson suffered noncritical injuries and was transported to Allina Hospital in Buffalo, as was his 15-year-old passenger, Elle Kirkendall.

Neither Verhey nor Farstad were injured.

Road conditions were wet at the time of the crash.

All involved were wearing seat belts and alcohol was not a factor in the crash, according to the State Patrol.
