COKATO, MN - Women of all ages gathered for a light lunch and a cup of tea at the First Baptist Church of Cokato March 14. The luncheon, bridal fashion show, and silent auction were part of an annual fundraiser for the Cokato Public Library. There were four door prizes given out Saturday. Winners included Janet Huss, Mary Swedberg, Dorothy Raisanen, and Mildred Anderson. The event was sponsored by FOCAL, and raised almost $2,400, with 95 people in attendance. There were 68 silent auction baskets with all donated items. Centerpieces were also judged. Mary Ackerman won for color, Marnie Stahl for imagination, and Sheila Rieke won for both traditional and “my favorite” categories.
