COKATO, MN - During a special Cokato City Council meeting Monday, the council discussed adding a future city hall expansion to the current “scope of work” being suggested for the library/museum.
Council Member Wayne Murphy suggested this be added to the current analysis work being done by Gayle Mack from the architectural firm, SEH, for an additional $5,000. At its October meeting, the council already agreed to contribute $10,000 of the $20,000 for a site analysis of the library/museum expansion.
“I think it will be money well spent,” Murphy said.
The vote passed with Council Member Butch Amundsen opposed and Mayor Bruce Johnson, Council Member Carl Harju, and Murphy, for it. Council Member Gordy Erickson was absent due to medical leave.
