Cokato City Council meetings tonight

COKATO, MN – A special meeting of the Cokato City Council will take place tonight before the regularly scheduled council meeting.

The special meeting will take place at 6 p.m. and items on the agenda include the presentation of the AgStar grant for the market study, reviewing the code of conduct and ethics ordinance, reviewing the existing sewer ordinance with the point of sale amendment, hearing the recommendations for the sanitary sewer action plan from city engineer Eric Lembke of Bonsetroo, and reviewing the recommended storm sewer repairs at Second Street and Swanson Avenue.

After the special meeting, a regular council meeting will take place. Items on the agenda include adoption of the preliminary budget levy for 2012, reviewing options for carpet replacement at city hall, reviewing the counties plans for County State Aid Highway 3 improvements from Klarsyn Avenue south to the city limits, purchasing controls and sensor equipment for the north water tower, and reviewing quotes for replacement of a sanitary sewer manhole at Fourth Street.
