NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Cokato City Council, Wright County, Minnesota will conduct a public hearing on Monday, August 15, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. council chambers at Cokato City Hall, 255 Broadway Ave S, Cokato, Minnesota 55321, to consider the following request:
• Request of the City of Cokato to Zoning Ordinance and Chapter 70 of the City Code as it pertains to – Driveways, parking spaces, curb openings etc.
• Request of the City of the Cokato to remove Chapter 131 of the City Code due to the Chapter not being applicable any longer.
• Request of the City of Cokato to the hours and days of sale or alcohol to align with the Minnesota State Statutes of allowing Sunday Sales by amending Chapter 110.17 of the City Code.
• Review of Solar Farm Regulations as it pertains to City Zoning Regulations.
• Request of the City of Cokato requesting a Moratorium Ordinance on allowing cannabinoid sales in City of Cokato

Dassel request for proposals: annual city audit

REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
ANNUAL CITY AUDITS
The Dassel City Council is requesting proposals from qualified firms of certified public accountants to prepare and audit its financial statements for the fiscal years ending 2022, 2023 and 2024. This audit is to be performed in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards.
There is no expressed or implied obligation for the City of Dassel to reimburse responding firms for any expenses incurred in preparing proposals in response to this request.

Dassel request for proposals: solid waste collection

NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
CITY OF DASSEL
FOR RESIDENTIAL SOLID WASTE COLLECTION
The City of Dassel is requesting proposals from experienced residential solid waste haulers for the collection of solid waste and recyclables from all residential structures in the City of Dassel.
The request for proposal forms can be obtained at Dassel City Hall, 460 Third Street, PO Box 391, Dassel, MN 55325, by emailing terri.boese@dassel.com or on the city website www.dassel.com.
ALL PROPOSALS MUST BE RETURNED TO TERRI BOESE, CITY CLERK, 460 THIRD STREET, PO BOX 391, DASSEL MN 55325, NO LATER THAN NOON, WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 14, 2022. ANY PROPOSALS RECEIVED AFTER THAT TIME WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED AND WILL BE RETURNED UNOPENED.
The parties submitting proposals shall adhere to the following schedule:
August 1st-September 13 – Period to review the Request for Proposal and prepare the specific proposal. The City will respond to all questions and comments within this time frame.
September 14 – Proposal submittals before Noon
September 19 – Proposals will be reviewed
September 19 – Contract will be awarded
October 1st – November 30 – Period to execute contract and activate performance bond and insurance
January 1, 2023 – Contract commences
December 31, 2025 – Contract expires
All persons submitting a proposal must use the proposal form supplied by the City and must return three (3) copies of the proposal.

BOARD ROOM
In partnership with our communities and families, we will educate and inspire all learners to maximize their potential, promote lifelong learning, and become contributing members of society.
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Board of Education of Independent School District No. 466 (Dassel-Cokato, Minnesota) was duly held in the Dassel Cokato Board Room, Cokato, Minnesota, on Monday, July 11, 2022.
Aho called the meeting to order at 6:00 PM.
The following members were present: Aho, Sangren, Bohnsack, Nelson, Grochow, and Miller. The following were absent: None
The meeting began with the pledge of allegiance.
Review and Comment: The school district received a positive review from the commissioner of Education on their submission of Review and Comment for the August Bond. This was published in the local paper on 7/8/2022. Matt Helgeson was present from Site Logic and gave a report on construction timelines and effect that lead times for equipment were causing.
The Board entered a closed session for Superintendent Mark Raymond’s evaluation at 6:55 pm on a motion from Nelson, seconded by Sangren. Motion carried unanimously.
The Board re-entered open session at 8:36 pm on a motion from Grochow, seconded by Nelson. Motion carried unanimously.
Being no further business, the meeting adjourned at 8:36 PM.

Business Manager’s Report: Business Manager Palmer reported expenses were in line with budget after the twelfth month of the fiscal year. The investment report was also shared with the board.
Superintendent’s Report: Superintendent Raymond reported the Review & Comment document has been approved by the Commissioner of Education for the August 9th election. Discussion was had regarding when to hold a public meeting to discuss the review and comment. The board decided on July 11. Superintendent Raymond informed the board of a July 6 meeting between the two cities and the school.

Motion by Nelson, seconded by Miller, approving Timothy Anderson as LEA Representative for Title Grants. Motion carried unanimously.
Motion by Miller, seconded by Bohnsack, approving school lunch program items for 2022-23: continue participation in the Federal Free and Reduced Lunch Program, the Federal Special Milk Program, the Minnesota Kindergarten Milk Program, the Breakfast Program and the Summer Food Service Program, increase the cost of lunch by $0.10 for elementary students at $2.35 and for Middle School and High School students at $2.40, Maintain the current cost of a bulk glass of milk at $0.50, increase the cost of breakfast by $0.10 for students resulting in a cost of $1.40 with the exception of Kindergarten students who will be free based on legislation, continue to have the district cover the cost for milk and juice break for Kindergarten and grades 1-4. Motion carried unanimously.
Motion by Nelson, seconded by Bohnsack, approving membership in the MSHSL. Motion carried unanimously.
Motion by Sangren, seconded by Miller, designating Mark Raymond as the Identified Official with Authority for Education Identity Access Management for the district. Motion carried unanimously.
Member Nelson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING DATES FOR FILING AFFIDAVITS OF CANDIDACY
BE IT RESOLVED by the School Board of Independent School District No. 466, State of Minnesota, as follows:
1. The period for filing affidavits of candidacy for the office of school board member of Independent School District No. 466 shall begin on August 2, 2022, and shall close on August 16, 2022. An affidavit of candidacy must be filed in the office of the school district clerk and the $2 filing fee paid prior to 5:00 o’clock p.m. on August 16, 2022.
2. The clerk is hereby authorized and directed to cause notice of said filing dates to be published in the official newspaper of the district, at least two (2) weeks prior to the first day to file affidavits of candidacy. Publication of said notice prior to the date of adoption of this resolution is hereby ratified and approved in all respects.
3. The clerk is hereby authorized and directed to cause notice of said filing dates to be posted at the administrative offices of the school district at least ten (10) days prior to the first day to file affidavits of candidacy.
4. The notice of said filing dates shall be in substantially the following form:

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the period for filing affidavits of candidacy for the office of school board member of Independent School District No. 466 shall begin on August 2, 2022, and shall close at 5:00 o’clock p.m. on August 16, 2022.
The general election shall be held on Tuesday, November 8, 2022. At that election, three (3) members will be elected to the School Board for terms of four (4) years each.
Affidavits of Candidacy are available from the school district clerk, Independent School District No. 466, 4825 Reardon Avenue SW, Suite 1700, Cokato, MN 55321. The filing fee for this office is $2. A candidate for this office must be an eligible voter, must be 21 years of age or more on assuming office, must have been a resident of the school district from which the candidate seeks election for thirty (30) days before the general election, and must have no other affidavit on file for any other office at the same primary or general election.
The affidavits of candidacy must be filed in the office of the school district clerk and the filing fee paid prior to 5:00 o’clock p.m. on August 16, 2022.
