Final weekend for FungusAmongus Players ‘Evening of One-Acts’

The FungusAmongus Players’ “Evening of One-Acts” continues tonight at the Dassel History Center at 7 p.m. The evening features five shorter plays, each of which explores the theme of endings.

DC Drumline competition at DC High School tomorrow night

Come watch the award-winning DC Drumline at its home competition tomorrow evening, Saturday, Feb. 25 at 5:30 p.m. at DC High School. A dozen teams will be competing at the show. DC Drumline will present its show “Outcast.”

Registration deadline is Wednesday, March 1 for the DC Expo

The Cokato Chamber of Commerce invites area business owners to participate in its annual DC Business Expo Saturday, March 11. The Expo is presented to showcase the products, services, and technology available in local communities. It also features a free pancake breakfast for the public and exhibitors. The event provides a way to connect with current customers, meet potential clients, and build relationships with other local businesses. Registration is due no later than Wednesday, March 1. The FungusAmongus Players’ “Evening of One-Acts” opens tonight at the Dassel History Center at 7 p.m. The evening features five shorter plays, each of which explores the theme of endings.
Performances also take place tomorrow, Saturday, Feb. 18 at 7, and Sunday, Feb. 19 at 2 p.m. Performances continue Friday and Saturday Feb. 24 and 25 at 7 p.m., and Sunday, Feb. 26 at 2 p.m. (To clarify a previous statement – there are no shows on Thursday.)

Community meal planned at Dassel Covenant Church Sunday

A Community Meal will take place at 11:15 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 19 at Dassel Covenant Church. The meal will feature a baked potato bar. Freewill donations accepted, but not necessary. All are welcome.

The James Sewell Ballet pirouettes into the PAC Sunday

The James Sewell Ballet is performing Sunday, Feb. 19 at 2 p.m. at the Dassel-Cokato Performing Arts Center (PAC). The professional company of dancers offers innovative work that explores the technical boundaries of ballet.
