Larry Oberg named grand marshal for Red Rooster Days

Larry Oberg is a familiar face to the Dassel community, as this is where he was born and raised, and he recently was announced as this year’s Red Rooster Days Grande Day Parade grand marshal.

Three years ago, he was still residing in Dassel until surgery and a pacemaker caused him to downsize to an apartment in Hutchinson.

Even though he no longer lives in Dassel, he still considers Dassel his home.
