A report was taken over the noon hour at a residence on 217th Street, Darwin,  located on the south side of Lake Stella.
Entry was made through an unlocked door sometime after the resident had left the home around 9 a.m. and before returning around 12:47 p.m.
Items stolen included cameras, a laptop computers, miscellaneous jewelry, flat screen television, and fishing poles.
Investigation found two sets of foot tracks, one much smaller than the other suggesting a female or a smaller person. Narrow tire tracks were also found in the driveway indicating a smaller type vehicle, according to the crime alert sent to residents through the lake association.
Sheriff Jeff Norlin reminds homeowners that oftentimes daytime burglars will knock on the door to determine if anyone is home before committing the burglary.
