The Wright County American Dairy Association is seeking candidates for its 2009 Dairy Princess and Ambassador programs.
The eligibility requirements are as follows:
A Wright County Dairy Princess must be a high school graduate (a GED is acceptable), and not yet 24 years old by Wednesday, July 1, 2009. A Wright County Dairy Ambassador must be enrolled in either the 10th or 11th grade in school. In both programs, candidate, parents, or guardians must be actively engaged in the production of milk for sale to a licensed plant at some time during the current year (2009). The farm must participate in the Minnesota dairy promotion checkoff. Candidate will qualify if a brother or sister has taken over the farm. A candidate will qualify if candidate or their parents or guardians are employed on a dairy farm in a dairy-related capacity.
