It’s a typical Minnesota spring — that is, winter refuses to let go of its grip, even though it is officially spring now. As requested by my co-workers, I snapped a shot of this snow bunny Friday, thanks to the snowstorm moving through — but by Saturday (see the “after” shot below), the bunny was gone. Nevertheless, there remains to be plenty of snow cover, even though I heard a weather forecaster say that everything would melt by Easter Sunday. Not so!
The weather continues to cartwheel this way and that with colder temps today and warmer days predicted, or as meteorologist Paul Douglas says “it may be the icing on a cold, strange cake we’ve all been forced to eat this winter.” Check out Paul’s blog at http://forums.prospero.com/n/blogs/blog.aspx?webtag=wcco_weather.
Just like Garrison Keillor says, you’re not really from Minnesota unless you complain about the weather.
