DASSEL-COKATO, MN - Auditions are coming up for the Dassel-Cokato Community Theatre production of “Little Me” Saturday, May 23 and May 30 at the Performing Arts Center at 6:30 p.m.
“Little Me” is a musical comedy written by comical playwright Neil Simon and centers around the memoirs of a rich, older woman, according to community theater director Dave Metcalf.
The story is told in flashback from the time she was a teenager until the present.
It mainly deals with romantic escapades and how she keeps getting richer and richer from her husbands’ tragic, but comical deaths, Metcalf explained.

There will be dancing and singing involved.
The performance dates are Friday, July 10; Saturday, July 11; Saturday, July 18; and Sunday, July 19.
There will be mostly evening rehearsals, and possibly a few scattered weekend rehearsals as well, through June and early part of July.
Metcalf invites any who participated in the general audition last fall, as well as any newcomer, to audition either Saturday, May 23 or Saturday, May 30, both days at 6:30 p.m.
Those auditioning are asked to bring a vocal range song and their individual conflict schedule.
