Atwater man injured after striking deer while riding an ATV

MEEKER COUNTY, MN – The Meeker County Sheriff’s Office received a report of an ATV crash with injury near the intersection of 230th Street and 600th Avenue in Litchfield Township Nov. 2 at 6:45 p.m., according to a release from the sheriff’s office. The Meeker County Sheriff’s Office, Litchfield Fire, Litchfield Rescue, Gold Cross Ambulance, and North Memorial Air Care responded to the scene. It is believed the driver Hunter Narragon, 20, of Atwater, struck a deer causing him to be thrown from the ATV. Narragon was airlifted to North Memorial Health Hospital in Robbinsdale with potential life threatening injuries. The Meeker County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by Litchfield Police and Atwater Police.
