Arrests made during Meeker Co. burglary investigation

MEEKER COUNTY, MN – Five people were arrested yesterday (Wednesday, Nov. 29) after authorities executed a search warrant in the 400 block of SW 15th Avenue in Willmar.

According to a press release from the Meeker County Sheriff’s Office, the warrant was part of the ongoing investigation into a string of burglaries in Litchfield and other areas of Meeker County. The sheriff’s office stated that the warrant led to the discovery of additional evidence regarding the burglaries. Also recovered during the search was approximately 4 grams of methamphetamine.

Arrested and brought to the Kandiyohi County Jail were: Cody Ryan Sander, 45, for controlled substance violations, felon in possession of ammunition and an outstanding felony warrant; Magan Rose Berry, 26, for controlled substance violations; Alejandro Vela, 19, for controlled substance violations; and Kevin Wayne Huddleston, 50, for controlled substance violations, the press release stated. The release also stated that Jacqueline Marie Clark-Leon, 23, was arrested for possession of stolen property and brought to the Meeker County Jail.

The Meeker County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Litchfield Police Department, Willmar Police Department, Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office, and the CEE-VI Drug and Gang Task Force.
