My friend and I were watching American Idol’s first round of eliminations Thursday where four contestants went home. Yes, this is sad. Especially for the ones who have to go home. What we both found a bit ridiculous were the sensitive bawlers on the side lines watching as their friends sing their last song. We weren’t sure if they were crying because they finally realized there can only be one winner, or if they were just relieved it wasn’t them. Rejection is tough, but that’s the show. One by one a contestant will go home every week. That’s the whole objective of the show, so they better get used to it. Only one will be the next American Idol. So far, who is your favorite contestant? Why?
