OK, it wasn’t quite the zoo, but I did get to see little critters I don’t normally get to see everyday. Today, Cokato Elementary had some tiny, and not so tiny, visitors to help teach how teasing is not so fun to be around. Among the animals were a hedge hog, porcupine, and iguana. I felt bad becuase when the porcupine was let out of the cage, a little girl began cry. She was scared of the big, black, furry, ball. The speaker, Greg Olson, joked that the one thing you should never do is hug a porcupine. Ouch! Although hard to see, the porcupine is eating an animal cracker.
