School happenings

Fifth and sixth grade concerts set
The fifth and sixth grade band and choir concerts are set for Thursday, Dec. 3 at the PAC. The fifth grade concert begins at 6:30 p.m., and the sixth grade concert begins at 8 p.m.
No school Dec. 7
There is no school Monday, Dec. 7 due to staff development.
Elementary music programs are set
Cokato Elementary’s holiday program featuring music by students in kindergarten through second grade will be Thursday, Dec. 10 at 1:15 p.m., with an evening performance at 7 p.m., both in the PAC.
Dassel Elementary’s holiday music program featuring music by students in kindergarten through second grade is set for Monday, Dec. 14, with a matinee at 1:30 p.m. and a 7 p.m. performance in the Performing Arts Center (PAC).
Winter break Dec. 24 through Jan 3
There is no school Thursday, Dec. 24 through Sunday, Jan. 3 for winter break. School resumes Monday, Jan. 4.

Special Cokato Council meeting tonight

COKATO, MN – A special Cokato Council meeting is set for tonight at 6 p.m. with the following topics on the agenda:

  • Consider a city hall expansion plan to be included as part of the current scope of work being done by SEH, architectural firm, for a library/museum expansion.
  • Consider adoption of Klarbacken private road agreement with Tuva Road Development.
  • Workshop session with code codification amendments.

Mystery Photo for the week of Nov. 30

mystery1130edMYSTERY, MN – The Enterprise Dispatch web site is hosting a weekly Internet mystery photo contest in which a photo is taken of something in the area.
Anyone who correctly guesses the identity of the photo is added to a monthly drawing for a free subscription to the newspaper.

Go ahead and guess! Those who guess correctly first receive bragging rights.

Caring Bridge site is set up for Brian Danielson
