More than 100 people turned out Monday to give blood during the Red Cross Blood Mobile’s visit to the Cokato Baptist Church with 113 pints collected. There were three first-timers and five pins including Colleen Compton for one gallon, Karen Ortquist and Tim Dobmeier with two gallons, Todd Baumann for three gallons, and Ron Brandel with the record of eight gallons. “It was a really good day,” said Margaret Salo, Red Cross volunteer. The Red Cross is in Cokato the fourth Monday in February, June, and October.
