Lost parrot returned after reciting its address

When Yosuke the parrot flew out of his cage and got lost near Tokyo, he did exactly what he had been taught — recite his name and address to a stranger willing to help, according to KARE 11 news.

Police rescued the African grey parrot two weeks ago from a neighbor’s roof in the city of Nagareyama, near Tokyo, Japan. After spending a night at the station, he was transferred to a nearby veterinary hospital while police searched for clues, local policeman Shinjiro Uemura said. Want to get away? Head north to Woodland Resort

A few years ago I was invited along on a family vacation at my nephew’s company cabin on Lake Geneva, north of Alexandria, and I fell in love with the area.

I was looking for a spot to get away last year and came across Woodland Resort. I like to take my mini vacations in the spring and fall of the year as I prefer the cooler weather rather then the hot weather. Continue reading ‘Want to get away? Head north to Woodland Resort’
