Britney’s going crazy again

I’ll be the first to admit, I do stay on top of celebrity gossip — but stop it with Britney Spears, already. No doubt she is definitely crazy, but I think she’s doing it just for attention, now; specially when she talks with a British accent. Continue reading ‘Britney’s going crazy again’

What a neat web site

commandments.JPGI just visited the web site for St. John’s Catholic Church in Darwin, and it’s pretty cool. If you want to take a peek, you’ll find it here. On the site, you’ll find information about the beautiful stone that was set into place by the church last year (shown at left), courtesy of Andy Levinski. The stone is located at the Education Center located halfway between Cokato and Dassel along Highway 12. In Monday’s paper, there will be an article about the 50th anniversary of the Diocese of New Ulm (which St. John’s is a part of).

So what is the state of the union?

Sick of winter and wanting to get away

Although the temperatures are rising, I still want to get out of this drab state where I can feel the warmth of the sun other than through my car windows. I’ve been thinking about taking a short trip, somewhere inexpensive, but fun. Just wondering if anyone out there has any suggestions? I thought about Vegas, but I’ve been there before. If I’m going to spend money I want it to be somewhere I’ve never experienced. So far in my lifetime, I’ve traveled to Vegas, Florida, Chicago, and Wisconsin (if that counts as travel). Where should I go next?
