‘Christ in the Concrete City’ drama at Gethsemane Friday

DASSEL, MN – The Dassel community Good Friday observance will be April 6, 7 p.m. at Gethsemane Lutheran Church.
“Christ in the Concrete City,” by Philip Turner, will be presented. With a cast of six, the hour-long drama attempts to portray the Passion of Jesus from three points of view.
First, it is the story of something that happened. Second, the story of the Passion is one of universal significance, speaking timelessly to all mankind. Third, the crucifixion and resurrection are events of personal significance speaking intimately to individuals in the secret places in their own souls.
Cast members include Sara Nelson, Linda Thompson, Steve Nelson, John Sandstede, Scott Smith and Dan Holje. Carolyn Holje is the director.
Dave Herring, pastor at the Dassel Church of Christ, will provide music.
