DWI arrest in Victoria after driving complaint

Victoria, MN — Wednesday, Feb. 1, Carver County Sheriff’s Deputies made a DWI arrest in Victoria stemming from a driving complaint originating in the area of Co Rd 11/Co Rd 10.
A citizen called our dispatch reporting the driver was speeding and had ran multiple red lights. The driver was located and after an investigation, was arrested for DWI. The driver submitted a breath test of .16BAC once at the jail.
The Carver County Sheriff’s Office expressed appreciation to the citizen for calling in the drivers conduct. The CCSO also said in its statement that “If you witness dangerous driving conduct and feel you can safely report it, please call 911 and we will be happy to investigate.”
