Dunk tank offers a variety of targets

For two years in a row at the Winsted Summer Festival, Chad Engel, Winsted’s fire chief, has walked away soaking wet (not shown in picture — photo was elusive of Chad). But he’s walked away the winner of the “Golden Towel Award.”
The winner of the award is chosen by the number of times he or she is dunked into the tank in one half hour.

Will Engel be able to hold on to this coveted title? There are a number of candidates listed below that might be more worthy of this honor.
Saturday:
• 3 to 3:30 p.m. – Joe Neumann (HT Education Committee)
• 3:30 to 4 p.m. – Greg Gehrman (Winsted Hardware Store)
• 4 to 4:30 p.m. Ruben Duran (Duran Photography)
• 4:30 to 5 p.m. – Candidate Julia Fleischacker
• 5 to 5:30 p.m. – Candidate Alix Greenhagen
• 5:30 to 6 p.m. – Candidate Lena Guggemos
• 6 to 6:30 p.m. – Candidate Emma Neumann
• 6:30 to 7 p.m. – Candidate Meagan Onderko
• 7 to 7:30 p.m. – Ambasador Karissa Remer
• 7:30 to 8 p.m. – Ambassador Breanna Ollig
Sunday:
• 2:30 to 3 p.m. – Glenn Kuck (SuperValu)
• 3 to 3:30 p.m. – Rose Heimerl (Firefighter, American Legion, Festival Committee)
• 3:30 to 4 p.m. – Chris Schultz (Herald Journal/Wildcat Baseball team)
• 4 to 4:30 p.m. – Aaron “Hammer” Schultz (Herald Journal/Wildcat Baseball Team/LPHT varsity baseball coach)
• 4:30 to 5 p.m. – Neil Schlagel (Blue Note/Wildcat Baseball Team)
