Captains: Carson vanSytzama, Erin Schultz, Maxim Hofstede,  Reed Graunke

Team State Appearances: 4 – 2014, 2015, 2017, 2018

Individual State Appearances:

2015 –   Nate Lysne, Oliver Kittock, Carson vanSytzama.

2016 – Carson vanSytzama, Kalya Lysne, Nate Lysne, Wyatt McClay

2018 – Carson vanSytzama, Kayla Lysne

2018 finish: 2018 was a great season for the Delano Tiger Trap Shooting Team.

The Tigers competed at the state tournament as a team and showed their shooting skills to the rest of the country, finishing second at the National Championship in Michigan.

St. Michael-Albertville won the national championship.

Key returning shooters: The four seniors have been with the team since sixth grade. They are Carson vanSytzama,  Reed Graunke,  Michael Hessing, and Ben Bersie.

The team has 70 athletes in grades 6-12.

Coach Spanier says: “The trap team would like to thank the Delano Sportsmans Club for supporting the Team.

We shoot on Mondays and Tuesday evenings starting at 5pm. We welcome the public to come down and watch.”
