Delano detour is gone; city ready for July 4 festival

DELANO, MN — Early Friday morning, construction crews in Delano removed Highway 12 barricades near the rail bridge and opened the road to traffic, according to a report issued by the city.  Drivers will now be able to travel the length of Highway 12 through the community without a detour.  This complete access will be open until July 6, when the detour will be reinstated and in effect until sometime in October.

Throughout this construction process Delano will remain OPEN for business.   The city would encourage all to participate in the oldest and largest 4^th of July Celebration here in Delano with events scheduled from July 1-4!
