Dean Mahlstedt calls for visit from Klobuchar, Franken

Dean Mahlstedt of Cokato, who is running for state senate in District 18, posted the following message on his Facebook account:

“I just finished writing to our (2) Senators, Klobuchar & Franken, and have invited them to come to Cokato, MN over the Christmas break to fill us in on the changes that will occur as a result of the new Healthcare reform legislation. Please also take the time to call or email both senators and invite them to Cokato so… that we can hear directly from them. I will help set up the meeting place and make arrangements. It is impartant for us get involved. Please take action.”

District 18 includes all of Meeker and McLeod counties, plus the following area in Wright County: the cities of Howard Lake, Cokato, and Annandale; and townships of French Lake, Middleville, South Haven, Southside, and Stockholm.
