DC 3, Holy Family 1
COKATO – The Chargers dropped a tight first match, but rebounded for three straight set victories in a 23-25, 25-23, 25-22, 25-20 victory over Holy Family Tuesday.
The Fire fell to 9-7 on the season.
“The whole team did a great job tonight of supporting each other and working as a team. We needed it with one of our key players [Emmy Haataja] out,” said Resop. “It took us a little while to get adjusted to a different lineup with a new setter, but once they settled in, they did a great job of executing and constantly adjusting.”
The replacement setter in the lineup was Evelyn O’Brien, who finished with a team-high 22 assists. Kelly Kraemer added 19.
