DC swim & dive finishes 6th at WCC

NEW PRAGUE – The DC girls swim & dive team took sixth place out of nine teams at the Wright County Conference meet held at New Prague Saturday.

“I did not think our conference could get any more difficult, but I was wrong,” said DC head coach Nathan Youngs. “Nearly every event broke a pool and/or conference record.”

Megan Nelson was the lone first-place finisher, breaking the New Prague school record with a score of 384.00. She was 32.5 points ahead of the second-place finisher.

Katelyn Lee was the only other top-five individual finisher for the Chargers, finishing third in the 100 Breaststroke.

The 200 medley relay team of Audrey Jarman, Katelyn Lee, Tyi LaZarre, and Kezia Lee took fourth.
