DC girls bb season ends at Waconia

WACONIA –  The DC girls basketball team fell to Waconia in the first round of the Section 6AAA playoffs Wednesday, ending their season.

The Chargers entered the playoffs as the #7 seed, and traveled to Waconia to face the #2 Wildcats Wednesday.

Waconia defeated the Chargers 67-30.

Waconia (20-7) had 10 players score, including three in double figures.

Natalie Meath and Tess Johnson had 12 points each, while Ava Stier added 10.

Katelyn Lee led DC with nine points, with Kezia Lee adding six and Cam Patten five.
