DC girls bb drops two

The Dassel-Cokato girls basketball team dropped two games in recent action, falling to Mound Westonka (5-10) on the road Thursday, 64-55, and losing at Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted (6-9) Saturday.

The Chargers are now 2-14 overall on the season, 0-4 in WCC West play.

Against Mound Westonka, DC had four players in double figures, but it was not enough to defeat the White Hawks. Abby Schmidt and Katelyn Lee had 11 points each, while Anna Peterson and Gus Munson added 10.

At Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted, Cam Patten led the team with a season-high 10 points. CJ Decker led all scorers with 19 points for the Lakers.
