The DC boys golf team took first place out of 16 teams at the NLS Invite Friday, with the Chargers capturing the first two places.
Alex Peterson finished with a 77 over 18 holes at the Little Crow GC in Spicer to take meed medalist honors.
Jackson Bakeberg finished in second place, two strokes behind Peterson with a score of 79
Combined with the scores of Nathan Clark (86) and Cade Ortquist (88), the Chargers finished seven strokes ahead of host New London-Spicer for first place (330-337).
DC also took third in a Wright County Conference West meet at Shamrock GC Thursday. For the fourth straight WCC West meet, Bakeberg took second, finishing with a nine-hole score of 36, two behind Noah Dietz of NLS.
The Chargers finished four strokes back of New London-Spicer, and one stroke back of Mound Westonka.
Peteerson finished tied for 10th with a score of 40.
