COKATO – The Charger boys basketball team came out just on the short end of a three-point loss at home to Lester Prairie Saturday.
“This was a frustrating one because I felt we just didn’t execute like we normally do,” said Dehler. “We seemed to be a step late on every possession defensively, and it showed with the number of layups and inside finishes they had.”
Gabe Aamot had a game-high 22 points for the Chargers, with Jackson Schrupp adding nine points and seven boards.
Jack Behing led the Bulldogs (8-3) with 21 points, the only Lester Prairie player in double figures.
The inside play was the big difference in the game, as Lester Prairie shot 59% from inside (16-27), compared to 42% for DC (15-36).
