DC boys basketball falls at Big Lake


BIG LAKE – Logan Nagorski scored 26 points, on 10-of-12 shooting, to lead the Hornets (3-0) past the Chargers 61-35 Tuesday.

Collin Krick led the Chargers in scoring with 18 points. Ethan Mayer had a team-high five rebounds, as DC matched Big Lake in boards, 30-30.

The big difference in the game was shooting percentage.

The Hornets shot 51% (24-47), including a whopping 20-32 inside (63%).

DC, meanwhile, shot 26% (12-46), including just 29% (7-24) from inside the arc.
