DC baseball splits with Glencoe-Silver Lake at St John’s

ST. JOHN’S UNIVERSITY – The Chargers split two games with Glencoe-Silver Lake at St. John’s University Saturday, winning game one 3-0 before falling 6-0 in game two.

“We had a great time playing at St. John’s Saturday,” said Flick. “The weather was nice, the location and field was really neat, and to top it off we got a split with a solid team.”

In game one, Collin Krick was the difference-maker, as he pitched a complete-game, six-inning shutout.

In game two, DC managed only two hits off GSL starting pitcher Chandler Glaeser in a 6-0 loss.
